After returning from Houston last week where Texas Tech played Ole Miss, it was time for the Red Raiders to open the season at home.

Texas Tech vs. Mississippi Football 2018

It’s the beginning of a new season of Texas Tech football. And Don Williams and I spent the better part of Friday driving down to Houston. Where the Red Raiders met the Ole Miss Rebels at NRG Stadium in the Advocare Texas Kickoff. Both teams finished last season 6-6 and hoped to begin this season with a win. Going into the game, Texas Tech’s defense had been highly touted as a much-improved unit. However, after losing 47-27 that proved to not immediately be the case.

Either way, here are some of my photos from the game.
