District 4-5A Track and Field Meet 2017

Student-athletes from four area schools competed against each other in the District 4-5A Track and Field Meet with hopes to move on to next weekend’s area meet. There were several weather delays throughout the day caused by lightning in the area. And the final relay events took place in the rain after the thunderstorms dissipated.

Monterey vs. Lubbock-Cooper Girl’s Soccer

Monterey successfully defeated Lubbock-Cooper to move on to the regional tournament in Wichita Falls.

Texas Tech Spring Game in Frisco

For the second time in about a month, I made the trek out to the Cowboys’ training facility in Frisco, the Ford Center at The Star. This time around the Red Raiders competed against each other in the spring game.
