This year marks my tenth season covering Texas Tech football. Five years as a student at The Daily Toreador, and five years with the Avalanche-Journal.
It has been fascinating to witness the changes to the program over this time. Watching the final games with Mike Leach, the entirety of Tommy Tuberville, most of Kliff Kingsbury and now the first season of Matt Wells.
During the game, Alan Bowman threw the ball for two touchdowns and ran it in for one more. Additionally, Sarodorick Thompson scored two more touchdowns during the game.
Texas Tech begins the 2019 football with a 45-10 win over the Montana State Bobcats.
