Lone Star Varsity Awards Banquet 2018
With the help of the people at GateHouse Live, we at the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal and Lone Star Varsity, host our inaugural High School Sports Awards Banquet. We presented awards to the top athletes across the South Plains in 20 different sports. As well as awards for the male and female athletes of the year, coach of the year and comeback player of the year. Also, as the guest of honor, Danny Amendola did a Q&A on stage with Don Williams and Bart Reagor.
