As the first set of report cards come out at the end of the six weeks period, any athletes not passing their classes can’t compete for the next six weeks. Here you learn how the coaches at the school help their student-athletes pass all of their classes.

The Process: Episode 5
Part of the life as a team in West Texas is traveling long distances for road games. The Estacado coaches and players hop on the bus for a three-hour trip to San Angelo.

Homecoming week at any high school involves numerous activities, especially at Estacado. Each sport at the school was displayed during a community pep rally. Students walked in a parade along the road leading up to the school. The new queen was crowned during the game against in-town rival Lubbock High.

In order to assist his players on and off the field, coach Shavers and his assistants find ways to help where they’re needed. This includes driving athletes to and from school as well as picking up food from the South Plains Food Bank.

After injuring his ACL during the spring, Seth Porter goes through the rehabilitation process to return to the field.
